“Free Citizen” Civic Initiatives Support Center, summarizing the 18 pieces of training held in all regions of Armenia within the framework of the “V4 for Youth Entrepreneurship in the Regions of Armenia” program, held two three-day Spring Schools for a total of 41 young people from all regions.
The second Spring School was held in the “Arthurs Aghveran Resort” hotel complex on April 27-30, with the participation of 19 young people from all regions of Armenia. At the opening of the event, Hovsep Khurshudyan, the chairman of the “Free Citizen” Civic Initiatives Support Center, Petr Pirunchik, the Czech Ambassador to Armenia, and Garegin Miskaryan, the chairman of the “Democratic Platform” Foundation, addressed the participants with a greeting.
Hovsep Khurshudyan also presented the results of the “V4 for youth entrepreneurship in the regions of Armenia” project.
Then the president of the “Democratic Platform” foundation, Garegin Miskaryan, held a course on “Why democracy is important for effective business management and free market relations”.
In the second half of the first day, Hovsep Khurshudyan presented a report on the economic standards of the Armenia-EU Agreement (SEPA).
On the second day of Spring School, Jan Cingel first conducted the courses “How to find business partners in the EU” and then “How to export products to the EU”.
In the second half of the day, Monika Stefien, an expert from the “Green Elephant” Foundation in Poland, conducted an online course/webinar on the topics “Key concepts and values of starting one’s own business” and “Dark sides of entrepreneurship”.
On the third day, Hovsep Khurshudyan held a mentorship on the topics of “Doing business in Armenia” and “Business plan design”.
The third day of spring school concluded with the ceremony of handing over certificates to the participants.

Within the framework of the “Visegrad 4 for the Development of Youth Entrepreneurship in the Regions of Armenia” program, during the 18 courses organized in all the regions of Armenia, 424 young people were given knowledge about entrepreneurship and business establishment (instead of 360 planned by the Program), 10 video classes were prepared (instead of 6 planned by the Program). Out of 36 collected business ideas, 27 were filtered according to relevance, 10 of which were awarded AMD 50,000 prizes. 41 out of 424 participants took part in the first and second three-day Spring Schools held at Arthurs Resort Hotel in Aghveran. The program was covered by social networks, television and radio.
