On the results of the election of the members of the Civil Society Platform provided for in Article 366 of EU-ARMENIA “COMPREHENSIVE AND EXTENDED PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT”

2022 On February 12, 2012, an online session was held to summarize the voting results of the EU-Armenia Civil Society Platform elections provided for in Article 366 of the RA-EU “COMPREHENSIVE AND EXTENDED PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT”, which was attended by all five members of the Electoral Commission:

Hovsep Khurshudyan, “Free Citizen” ICRC /Chairman of the Commission/,

Gayane Poghosyan, Small and Medium Business Foundation /Secretary of the Committee/,

Arkady Sahakyan, Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises

David Amiryan, Open Society Foundations – Armenia.

Karen Chilingaryan, Consumer Consulting Center.

The Commission noted that the election of the members of the EU-Armenia Civil Society Platform was conducted in accordance with the procedure for forming the composition of the Armenian Civil Society Platform of Armenian NGOs and foundations provided for in Article 366 of the EU-RA CCA, through open online voting.

As a result of the discussion, the members of the Electoral Commission registered that 36 out of 37 registered voters participated in the elections and received 37 ballots. The members of the Electoral Commission came to the common conclusion that during the voting some of the voters violated the Electoral ORDER, on the basis of which 8 /eight/ ballots were declared invalid.

Based on 29 valid ballots:

THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION UNANIMOUSLY DECIDED.

To consider the elections of the Civil Society Platform, carried out by civil society organizations, provided for in Article 366 of the EU-RA HCA, to have taken place.

Summing up the voting results, state that the following four candidates with the highest scores were elected by the civil society as the four main members of the EU-Armenia Civil Society Platform provided for in Article 366.

Lusine Hakobyan, “Europe of Law” NGO – 488 points,

Marat Atovmyan, Armenian Bar Association – 444 points,

Mikael Hovhannisyan, Eurasia Partnership Foundation – 409 points,

Tatul Manaseryan, “Alternative” NGO – 402 points.

The following candidates were elected as replacement members:

Julieta Amiraghyan, Center for Community Consolidation and Support – 382 points,

Vardine Grigoryan, Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Vanadzor Office – 372 points

Daniel Ioannisyan, Union of Informed Citizens NGO – 372 points,

Violeta Zopunyan, Law Development Center – 328 points.
