Training dedicated to the development of business capabilities of young people in Vanand

“Free Citizen” Civic Initiatives Support Center, with the support of the Visegrad International Fund (Slovakia), continues the implementation of the “V4 for the development of youth entrepreneurship in the regions of Armenia” project. The goal of the project is to develop the abilities of the youth of the regions of Armenia in establishing a new business and developing it effectively, as well as to increase their awareness of European structures, institutions and their programs implemented in Armenia, including the European Union, the Council of Europe, the Eastern Partnership, the Visegrad-4 format.

The project responds to the problem of internal brain drain among the youth of Armenia, which is happening from the regions to the capital Yerevan. The project aims to contribute to the improvement of living conditions in the regions by creating more opportunities for young people, developing their basic business skills, including accounting, tax and business regulations, environmental waste recycling and management, as well as raising their awareness of European business development programs. and encouraging them to start their own start-ups.

This was the fifth of 18 workshops planned by the Program, which took place for the youth of Vanand community of Armavir region on June 28, 2022, in Armavir city. 28 young people aged 16-30 who were interested in starting their own business or are already engaged in entrepreneurship participated in the program.

During the training, the participants presented their business ideas. The best of them will receive special prizes at the end of the program.
